Welcome to Housing Services

Opus Hall

This site is designed to provide you with information regarding on-campus housing, Residence Halls, Important Housing Dates, and other housing services and resources. Updates regarding timely information are highlighted below. Please contact us if you have any questions, comments or feedback. We look forward to seeing you on campus!

Important News & Dates

New Student Information: This webpage includes information regarding the housing application process, items for special attention and action, and current programs and services for New Freshmen, New Transfers, and New Graduate/Law students seeking housing.

Returning Students:  Spaces are still available for both undergraduate and graduate/law students who have not yet secured housing for the upcoming academic year. The conveniences and all-in-one cost of on-campus housing help make it your most valuable option in finding a place to live. Complete the Residence Hall and Dining Services Application and return it by mail or fax (202) 319-6262 to request your space on campus!

Summer Housing: Summer Housing is available for CUA students; information and the application is here. CUA students do not need to be enrolled in summer classes. This is a great opportunity to pursue internships and other career opportunities in the DC area during the summer months.  Information for Summer Housing Residents regarding Summer-to-Fall transition housing can be found here.

Move-in Services: Housing Services works with various affiliated vendors to enhance your residential experience and provide specialized services to make your transition to college life a smooth one. Available services include MicroFridge rentals, linen sales, carpet sales, and shipping & storage programs that are designed specifically for our residential community.

Damage Bills: Damage bills from academic year housing have been entered in MyHousing and posted to student accounts. Students can view the details of any charges they may have accrued in MyHousing. More information on the damage billing policy and appeal process is here.

New Washing Machines: Housing Services has gone green with our laudry machines! This summer all washing machines in residence halls were replaced with new, energy-efficient, front-load washers. Since these machines use a lot less water, less soap is also needed. Tips on using these machines are in the newsletter and posted in laundry rooms.

MyHousing: MyHousing, accessible through your Cardinal Station account, is a great resource to see your assignment, roommates, room phone number, mailbox and current housing-related billing charges. You can access MyHousing by logging onto Cardinal Station https://cardinalstation.cua.edu using the Username and Password you received in the mail and navigating to Student Self-Service > MyHousing. If you have misplaced your Username and Password, you can call the CUA Computer Help desk at 202-319-4357 for assistance.
