MyHousing

MyHousing, accessible through your Cardinal Station account, is a great resource to see your housing assignment, dining plan, roommates, room phone number, mailbox, and current housing-related billing charges. You can access MyHousing by logging onto Cardinal Station using your username and password and navigating to Student Self-Service > MyHousing. If you have misplaced your username or password, call the CUA Computer Help Desk for assistance at (202) 319-4357.

Opening and Closing of the Residence Halls

For 2010–2011 occupancy dates for undergraduates and graduates are:

  • Fall Opening — August 26 for new students and August 28 and 29 for continuing students
  • Fall Closing — December 19
  • Spring Opening — January 8 for new residents and January 9 for returning residents
  • Spring Closing — May 8 for non-graduating residents and May 15 for remaining residents

For law students occupancy dates are:

  • Fall Opening — August 15 for new law students and August 22 for returning law students
  • Fall Closing — December 19
  • Spring Opening — January 9
  • Spring Closing — May 15 for non-graduating law residents and May 28 for graduating law residents

Welcome to Housing Services

We are excited to welcome you to campus as we begin a new academic year together. Your housing and dining assignment information, including your roommates and their contact information, is available in MyHousing. This Web site can also be a helpful resource to you regarding on-campus housing, residence hallspolicies, helpful forms, and other housing-related services. Updates regarding timely information are highlighted below and included in the calendar to the right. You can also find us on Facebook and Twitter. Extended Occupancy Housing

Assignments for all students are available in MyHousing. The number of students who are required to live on campus can be greater than available housing space. This year some first-year students are assigned to extended housing spaces within the residence halls; these students have received individual communications from Housing Services. More information on extended occupancy housing is available here. Please contact Housing Services if you have any questions.

 

Student Staff Positions

University Affiliated Housing

Housing Services offered a unique opportunity for upperclass students to live at The Cloisters Apartments in university managed housing for this academic year. More information on University Affiliated Housing is available here or by contacting Housing Services.

 

Off-Campus Housing Resources

The Off-Campus Housing Resource Center includes online property listings and links to helpful information. Additional information is also available in our office

Consultations with the Coordinator of Off-Campus Housing are also available in person or via Skype; interested students can contact Housing Services to schedule a meeting.
