Shuttle service between CUA and The Towers at University Town Center will be provided during the 2007-2008 academic year for CUA students living at The Towers. Below are the program guidelines and rules, pick-up/drop-off locations, behavioral expectations, and the schedule. The
I. Hours: Monday through Friday 4PM until 12AM The CUA/Towers Shuttle will depart approximately every 30 minutes making a continuous loop between CUA and At CUA- The shuttle will pick-up and drop-off in front of Leahy Hall at the CUA Shuttle Stop. At At no time will the shuttle make additional stops. Riders must arrange their own additional transportation to and from these locations. Students who want an escort on campus to/from Leahy Hall may contact DPS and request the Escort Service. III. Ridership Ridership will be limited to CUA students carrying their CUA ID.
IV. Accessibility Those students that require an accessible vehicle must notify Housing Services 48 hours in advance so that transportation can be arranged. V. Food and Drink Open containers of either food or drink are not permitted on the shuttle. Likewise, food or drink are not to be consumed while utilizing the shuttle. VI. Bicycles/Skateboards Bicycles and Skateboards are not allowed on the shuttle.
VII. Pets/Other Animals Pets and other animals are prohibited from the shuttle with the exception of animals needed to assist people with disabilities. VIII. Questions and Recommendations All questions and recommendations should be directed to Housing Services in 160 Cardinal Hall. You may also email Housing Services at CUA-Housing@cua.edu. IX. Emergencies In the event of an emergency with the shuttle please contact the Department of Public Safety immediately at 202-319-5111. Do · Follow official instructions at all times. Try to remain calm in emergencies. · For safety and courtesy, let others leave the shuttle before you enter. · Put trash in trash bins at your destination. · Audio or video devices are allowed as long as you use headphones. · Remember to bring your CUA ID in order to ride the shuttle. · Report odd, suspicious, or inappropriate behavior to DPS at 202-319-5111. Do Not · Eat, drink, smoke or litter on the shuttle · Request unscheduled stops. · Disrupt the driver while s/he is operating the shuttle.
