Dining Plans
Freshman and Sophomore residents are required to select a dining plan.
After you select your room, you will be asked to select your dining plan for the academic year. Below is information to consider prior to making your selection.
Dining Plan Participation Requirement
CUA strongly believes that students beginning their collegiate studies benefit from participation in a dining plan as they adjust to life away from home. As such, all residential Freshmen and Sophomores are required to enroll in CUA's dining plan program. Freshmen and Sophomores may select from the Anytime Dining Plans. Any Freshman or Sophomore resident who does not select a dining plan will be assigned the Anytime Platinum Plan.
Students who want to submit requests regarding their dining plan can now do so at the location most convenient for them. The form can be returned to Business Services in Leahy Lower Level room 45 or fax at 202-319-5047, Dining Services on the 1st floor of the Pryz, or Housing Services. The deadline to change or cancel a dining plan is the Friday of the first week of classes each semester. For the 2007-8 academic year, these dates are August 31 (fall) and January 18 (spring).
Dining plans are not valid during the following academic breaks:
• Thanksgiving recess
• Period between the fall and spring semesters
• Spring break
• Easter recess
