Getting Started

Renting an apartment for the first time is pretty exciting. There are many things to consider from the time you decide to move on your own, all the way to the day you pick up the keys to your new place.

When looking for an apartment you should ask yourself the following questions:

  1. Where do I want to live?
  2. How long do I need to live in this new place?
  3. How much can I afford to pay for rent?
  4. How much/what type of space do I need?
  5. What kinds of amenities are important to me?
  6. Do I need/want a roommate?
