Welcome to CUA Housing!
In an effort to enrich your overall educational experiences, the offices of Housing Services and Residence Life work collaboratively to provide residential facilities that meet student developmental needs, support the formation of community, and encourage the creation of seamless learning environments.
Living in the residence halls is about more than your room - it is about being a part of a dynamic and supportive community, both academically and socially. At The Catholic University of America, the educational experience is not limited to the classroom setting. During a typical week, you will spend an average of 15 to 20 hours of your time in the classroom. While the remaining hours might find you studying in the library or engaged in extra-curricular activities, much of your time will be spent in the residence halls. Our primary goal it to assist you in building connections to the larger university community in hopes that you will become an active participant in university life and gain a greater appreciation for community values and service.
This webpage is intended to assist you in understanding the basics of living on campus. Information regarding the residence halls, current programs and dining options are included. Regardless of where you live, you will consistently find a focus on faith, community standards and personal development throughout the residential experience.
Welcome to The Catholic University of America. We are so glad to have you!
Housing Application Process
New Undergraduates, Graduates, and Law Students should submit the hard copy of the Residence Hall and Dining Services Application to Housing Services. Applications will be assigned on a rolling basis beginning in early December. Assignment confirmations will be sent; once assignments are made they will also be available online in MyHousing.
MyHousing is a great resource to see your housing and dining assignment, roommates, room phone number, mailbox and current housing-related billing charges. You can access MyHousing by logging onto Cardinal Station https://cardinalstation.cua.edu using your Username and Password and navigating to Student Self-Service > MyHousing. New students should have received their Cardinal Station login information in the mail. If you have misplaced your Username and Password, you can call the CUA Computer Help desk at (202) 319-4357 and they will assist you.
